Omega Audio Video, LLC Becomes Audio Video Choice for Plaza Midtown

Plaza Midtown selects Omega Audio Video, LLC to renovate the audio and video systems on the amenity level of the condominium property in midtown Atlanta.  Omega Audio Video, LLC will begin updating the audio system starting with installing a new sound system for the community pool.  Aesthetics, sound quality and a generous warranty was the key reason Omega Audio Video, LLC selected SoundTube SM500i speakers for the pools perimeter along with Phase Technology SPF-55 in ground speakers.  Residents can appreciate the tonal quality and deep bass while their clever placement keeps noise to a minimum on pool level condominiums.

Omega Audio Video, LLC will begin the interior upgrades to the amenity system very soon.

Geosyntec Consultants and Engineers ~ Atlanta Campus

Omega Audio Video, LLC has completed a dynamic and user friendly conference room system for Geosyntec’s Atlanta office.  The video system consists of a 110” Da-Lite in-ceiling Electrol Motorized Screen, two Toshiba 55” LED TV’s for side and overflow viewing all switched by WyreStorms 4:4 HDMI Matrix switch.  The Omni-Mount RE-18 AV rack contains a Sony Receiver, Rack PC with dual monitor outs, Wireless Keyboard Dock, Universal Remote MRF-350 receiver along with an integrated thermal management system and locking front and rear doors.  The entire system is controlled by an activity based MX-3000 Universal Remote Control table top LCD touchscreen.  The system is setup for minimal button presses to accomplish many complex tasks.  With the three video screens, Geosyntec can display a PowerPoint on the main 110” screen from PC1, a PDF of plans on the left 55” LED and meeting notes on the right 55” LED.  “Multiple users with minimal or no training use this system often and we are very happy with the level of control and simplicity,” Jeff Hesson, Geosyntec IT Department

Savannah College of Art ~ Atlanta Campus

Omega Audio Video, LLC has completed a full campus wide upgrade of the intercom system for the secured areas and exterior entrances of SCAD.  Omega Audio Video, LLC chose to use Aiphone’s new intercom system for ease of operation and fail safe reliability.  Omega Audio Video, LLC also integrated the intercom into the existing access control system allowing security personnel the ability to remotely open doors without having to use personnel who can be utilized for more important tasks.  Omega Audio Video, LLC also incorporated the system with the 64 camera CCTV previously installed by OAV.

Woodruff Arts Center ~ Center Space

Omega Audio Video, LLC has competed comprehensive system integration for The Woodruff Arts Center in Midtown Atlanta. “Center Space” as it is known, is a multipurpose room that will be used for corporate speaking engagements, wedding receptions, art auctions, as well as many other uses including board meetings with video and teleconferencing ability. The system had to be easy enough for their guests to use and well hidden unless it is in use. The system is controlled with a Crestron control system via in-wall touch panels and an iPad. There are two Mitsubishi WD3300U projectors, one on each end of the room that hides in the ceiling until needed thanks to the Vutec’s VT-14 projector lifts. The Mitsubishi DLP® projectors shine at 4,000 lumens and 2300:1 contrast ratio and are built for 24/7 use in large auditoriums, lecture halls or other venues The projectors shine onto 150” Vutec Lectric II screens that retract into the ceiling. The A/V equipment was built into the wall for a clean and hidden look. There are four zones of SoundTube Speakers and in-ceiling subwoofers. The amplification is by Crown amplifiers. The system is mixed with Biamp’s Nexia mixer that has amazing auto echo cancelling which made the wireless microphones able to be used anywhere in the space without feedback. So far the system has been used by board members, local celebrities, dignitaries and President Jimmy Carter.

Elm Street Cultural Arts Village (Audio Video System)

Omega Audio Video, LLC has been chosen to design and install a large venue audio video system in the Elm Street Cultural Arts Village 600 seat theater. The installation will center around a new Vutec 250” automated video screen that will retract in the ceiling when not in use. The video system also will incorporate the latest Mitsubishi Digital Projection system that uses a dual lamp for 7000 lumens of brightness. The audio system will utilize the high output SoundTube HSi series speakers with Crown amplifiers driving the speakers. The system will be used for independent films and classic movies that will be free to the public. The Elm Street Cultural Arts Village is at the center of a city wide revitalization of historic downtown Woodstock. Omega Audio Video is a proud partner of the Elm Street Cultural Arts Village.

Outdoor TV and Surround System by the Pool (Private Residence, Buckhead)

Omega Audio Video, LLC has recently completed an installation at a private residence in Buckhead which attractively boasts a 55” SunBrite Outdoor HDTV as the focal point of the design.  The 55” 1080P Flat Panel has been recessed into a stone wall directly behind the outdoor bar, giving those at the bar, in the pool or lounging by the outdoor fireplace a great view without spoiling the aesthetics of the outdoor space.  There are also several SoundTube SM-500i speakers for full sound coverage.  Taking care of the low end is a water shaking SoundTube RS-1001i 10” subwoofer tucked in a cove behind the Jacuzzi.  The amplification system is thru a few Parasound Amplifiers.  The system is controlled by Universal Remote’s fantastic MX-880 automated remote control giving the client everything they demand by using one touch macro’s to control the system.  Anything the client needs is at the push of a button.  This system can be used to watch the horse races from the pool or as an outdoor party lounge, providing an unbelievable cool factor.

AT&T and ACS Wireless (New High Technology Store Design)

Omega Audio Video, LLC has completed two of the new “Generation Four” stores for AT&T in John’s Creek and Woodstock.  Omega Audio Video, LLC worked with AT&T as a General Contractor to deliver an operational ready store to the staff.  Omega Audio Video, LLC handled everything from cabinet installations, lighting design and automation to installing the local area network (LAN), Phone System and the point of sale (POS) systems.  Omega Audio Video, LLC also installed digital camera systems and automated HVAC systems that can be remotely viewed and managed.  There is also a display in each location to try out the AT&T U-Verse TV.  We built two 55” TV’s into a recess and then we backlit the recess to highlight and attract customers to the display.
